Artists get paid. Every time.

Every performance in our season comes with a check. We don't ask artists to work for exposure. Your membership is part of how we keep that promise.

The Artist Membership Program gives Durham creatives access to professional studio and rehearsal space little to no cost. Members help underwrite that access.

  • Can I cancel anytime?

    Yes. No contracts, no penalties. We'd rather earn your continued membership than lock you into it.

  • Is my membership tax-deductible?

    St. Joseph's Historic Foundation is a registered 501(c)3. The portion of your membership that exceeds the fair market value of member benefits may be tax-deductible. Tax ID: 56-1152267

  • Why is "$19.75" significant?

    1975 is the year the St. Joseph's Historic Foundation was establised by community members who refused to let this building, and everything it represented, disappear. This membership program is a tribute to that decision.

  • Can I give a membership as a gift?

    Absolutely! Reach out to us at info@hayti.org and we'll take care of you.

  • How do invite-only experiences work?

    Advocate and Patron members enter a curated pool for intimate events. Selection is based on relationship and alignment, not just giving level. The longer you're with us, the more likely you are to be in the room.
