Rooted in the legacy of the historic Hayti community, our space has held everything from gallery openings and cultural celebrations to community meetings and performances. Our historic Sanctuary and Community Room are open to corporate partners, and we'd love to welcome you in. Every booking directly supports our mission to make sure Durham's artists always have a home to create.
OUR SPACES
- The Sanctuary. Capacity: 350 seats. A stunning, historic setting for conferences, galas, celebrations, and large-scale events.
- The Community Room. Capacity: 35-45. Ideal for meetings, workshops, receptions, and intimate gatherings.
- Classrooms and Hayti’s gallery/lobby.
Add-on services available: AV technician ($75/hr), cleaning ($50-$125), and security ($45/hr). Ask us for details.

The Sanctuary
Capacity: 350 seats | For Small/Mid Nonprofits: $1,350-$1,750/day For Corporate / Large Nonprofits, $2,400-$3,100/day
The Community Room
Capacity: 35-45 | For Small/Mid Nonprofits: $75-$100/hr For Corporate / Large Nonprofits, $125-$160/hr

Peak rates apply Friday-Saturday. Off-peak rates apply Sunday-Thursday. Day rates apply to full-day Sanctuary bookings only. Booking hours: Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

WHY THIS PROGRAM MATTERS
Corporate and nonprofit rentals at market rates generate a surplus that flows directly into free and subsidized studio space for Durham artists through the Hayti Artist Membership. Every conference, celebration, and corporate retreat held here is a direct investment in Durham's vibrant arts community.
Corporate bookings do more than keep the lights on. They ensure artists always have a key.

HOW TO BOOK
- Submit an inquiry through our rental page. It takes two minutes.
- We'll be in touch within one business day to confirm your details and hold your date.
- You'll receive a custom proposal with everything included: space, rates, and any add-ons.
- Sign your contract and pay your deposit online. Your booking is confirmed.
- We'll check in a week before your event to make sure everything is set.
- Show up, gather, and leave the rest to us.
