Co-created by artists Derrick Beasley and Marcella Zigbuo Camara, it's a space to cultivate and document Black creative community — rooted in the tradition of Scurlock's studio portraiture, the Kamoinge Collective, and the pop-up gatherings of the Harlem Renaissance.
