ARPA cycle 2 Stipends
eligibility
- Be 18 years or older
- Have resided in Durham City or Durham County March 1, 2020 through the present (eligible zip codes: 27503, 27515, 27560, 27572, 27613, 27701-27713, 27715, 27717 and 27722)
- Have been negatively economically impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic
- For individual artists: have the ability to attest that your yearly household income during the period of March 2020 to December 2022 is equal of falls below the 80% median income as determined by the image
- For small businesses and nonprofits: have the ability to attest that ARPA-funded activities will be used to serve low-moderate income audiences and households.

If I applied to Cycle 1 am I eligible for Cycle 2?
- Yes, please review our application and updated eligibility to ensure that you meet our application requirements.
If I am a small business and an individual artist am I able to apply on behalf of both my business and myself?
- Are you the sole owner of the business?
- If yes, then no you are not able to apply for both. Please select one or the other to apply for the stipend under.
- If not, then yes, if a separate owner applies on behalf of the business instead of you.
