The beloved and acclaimed author of Family and Life is Short But Wide, J. California Cooper, will read from her work and talk about the creative process. Ms. Cooper’s visit will kick off Let’s Talk About It: The African American Experience. Scholars from North Carolina Central University will lead book discussions on five seminal works at Stanford L.
